Now, let me introduce Dave Basham. Dave joined the outreach branch of the verification division for USCIS in July 2008 following his retirement from the US Army. In December 2009, he provided Form I-9 presentations to the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands. He currently serves as the main contact for 100 ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) special agents regarding the Form I-9 and E-Verify. He has presented in over 35 states and territories to audiences ranging from elected officials to Human Resources, payroll specialists, and immigration attorneys. Dave served in the US Army infantry, and his military service decorations include the Legion of Merit. He is originally from West Virginia but now calls historic Fredericksburg, Virginia home.
