Instructions and Help about Dd 1750

True" Hide My Email is another really nice privacy feature that comes with an iCloud Plus membership. It lets us create and use randomized iCloud email addresses rather than our dedicated iCloud email address. So for this account, my email address is themacyou@me.com. The macyou@icloud.com will also work interchangeably. From here in iCloud settings, if I go into Hide My Email, I notice that we're able to manually create a new address. These addresses are randomly chosen and cannot be edited. If you don't want to use the one presented, tap "Use Different Address" to create a new one. We can also add a label and enter a note to help keep track of the purpose of the address. I'm going to call this one "test" and leave the note empty. Now the new iCloud email address is active, and it automatically forwards emails sent to it to my true iCloud email address. This allows me to give this address to a person or business rather than my real email address. Let's test it out. From the Mac, I'm going to send an email to the random address from a Gmail account. The email arrives on my iPhone, and in the "To" field, it says "Hide My Email." By tapping it, I can see the address that the sender used. This is the only address the sender ever saw. If I go back to Hide My Email settings and tap on that address, I can deactivate it. Doing this would prevent any sender who has this address from successfully sending me an email again. This is just one way to use Hide My Email. You'll probably use it more often when an email is requested from a website. Here in Safari, I'm about to sign up for a newsletter from this website....
