True. This tutorial is designed to show you how to send an email in Blackboard 9. What we will first do is talk about the course tools and where the send email feature is. Then, we will talk about sending emails to all users or to single or select users. So, log into one of your Blackboard courses. Under course management, you will see the control panel. Scroll down and you will see course tools. Click on that to expand all the course tools. Next, go down to send email. The first way we are going to send an email is to all users in the course. When you click on this, it will create an email ready to be sent to all the users, including yourself, instructors, and students. You can put a subject and compose your message. Additionally, you can attach a file by clicking on 'attach' and browsing for the file on your computer. After you are done, click submit. If you want to send an email to a specific user or student, go to the 'single select users' section. Select the students you want to send the email to and click the arrow to move them to the selected section. You can repeat this process for multiple students. Again, enter a subject and compose your message. You can also attach a file here. When finished, hit submit. There are other options available under 'groups' if you want to send emails to specific groups of students.
