To begin, login to the employer portal by entering your username and password. Then, select the login button on the home screen. From the correspondence screen, select the correspondence main menu item. Use the search button to display the correspondence or enter search criteria to narrow the results. Look for correspondence regarding appealable issues, and click on the file appeal hyperlink from the file appeal screen. Review the appeal information, and select the next button on the reason for appeal screen. Enter the address and contact information as required. Write a reason for the appeal, and upload any supporting documents. Indicate if an interpreter is needed. If yes, select the appropriate language from the drop-down menu. On the additional representation screen, indicate if there is outside representation. If yes, enter your representative's information. You can save, modify, or delete the representation record if necessary. Next, indicate if you will present a witness. It is not mandatory to have a witness for your appeal. Upload any supporting documentation, and indicate if you are requesting a subpoena for the witness. Keep in mind that the division of unemployment insurance will review your request, and issuing a subpoena is not guaranteed. Enter the witness information and review the record. Make any necessary modifications or deletions. If you have more than one issue eligible for appeal, you will see the multi-appeal screen. Select the issues you want to include within your appeal, and click the next button. From the review information and file appeal screen, carefully review the appeal information.
