True" welcome to the Florida courts. A filing portal is available for filing large documents. Currently, the portal submission file size limit is set at 50 megabytes. 50 megabytes is considered a large document. If you are creating your document using a word processor and saving it as a PDF, you can file thousands of pages and still stay below the 50 megabyte file size limit. To file to a specific case, you can access it through the e-filing map if it's your first time filing to that case. Alternatively, you can go to your "my cases" page or "my submissions" to access the case information page. From any of these locations, you can select the case you want to file to. If it's a pleading, you would choose the submit button under the pleading column. Confirm that you want to file a document to that case by clicking on OK in the message. The portal will then go to the respective County's case maintenance system to retrieve the case information based on the year and sequence you entered. It will populate the case style at the top so you can ensure you are filing to the correct case. You can navigate to the documents tab and click on the Add button to choose the document you want to file. You can select it from your frequently filed list or search using the page numbers at the bottom or conduct a document search by typing in the name or a unique name of the document. Once you have located the document, you can upload the file. It is possible to file a document up to 50 megabytes or individual documents that do not exceed the 50 megabyte file size.
