True" Music. Hello, my name is Dwayne Kimball, owner and founder of CAMD89 VA Claims Consulting. I also want to mention that I am a United States Army veteran. Today, I am bringing you another video regarding the VA disability compensation claims process. Before I delve into the video, I would like to make two announcements. First, I want to recognize the veteran who won the Cahoot testing knowledge quiz that I conducted on December 10th. Congratulations to Mr. Blackman! However, I want to emphasize that all the veterans who participated were winners. We had a great time during the quiz, and there was ample interaction. Some veterans also shared valuable information, and I even learned a few things myself. Now, onto the second announcement. I have recently updated the calendar link on my website to provide information about the educational events I will be conducting in January 2021. Currently, there are four events listed, and I plan to add a couple more. One of these events will focus solely on nexus statements. I have observed significant confusion among veterans regarding this topic. Many are unfamiliar with the term "independent medical opinion" and don't understand what constitutes a nexus statement. They are unsure about what information should be included in a nexus statement to make it effective for rating purposes. Additionally, many veterans are unaware of when to utilize a nexus statement and when it is unnecessary. Therefore, I am dedicating an entire event to discuss nexus statements and provide examples of medical opinions and rationales. I will also delve into the subject during my monthly educational training. To access more details about the educational events, kindly visit my website at kmd89.com (kilomikedelta89.com). I will also include the link in the description section of this video. Please remember to check the description section...
