True, it's Jamila from Buy Pink, and I have been asked a few times how I organize my freebies and how I give them away. So, I wanted to do a quick video to show how I do it and how easy it is. I've been with Flodesk for about a year now, since early September last year. I think I joined when it was still in beta, but I loved the way the emails look. You can see some examples here before I log in. The email templates are visually appealing, which is why I decided to give it a shot. Plus, it was super inexpensive. You can try Flodesk for free using the link I will provide in the description. As I mentioned, I wanted to show how I distribute my freebies. Initially, when I started giving them away, I had a setup where I would give the link out once or have people sign up for an email to get the link. Then, they had access to the freebie forever. However, a blogger friend of mine suggested that I make people sign up for my email newsletter. So, I started setting it up that way. I'll show you real quick how I set it up. In this pumpkin craft example, there is a "Jump to Craft" button that makes it easier for people to navigate. When they click on the button, it opens a new window with a link to the cut file. This link takes them to a form where they fill in their first name, last name, and email address. Once they click "Download the Freebie," the file is automatically sent to their email address.
