True" Welcome to this DM on Demand presentation for the Pre-Claim Hotline Overview. The information given in this training is correct as of November 2021. The most current information related to this topic can be found on the Meridian Medicare website and the CMS website. The Pre-Claim Hotline is a service provided by Meridian for suppliers regarding the Advanced Determination of Medicare Coverage (ADMC) and Condition of Payment Prior Authorization (COPPA) programs. The hotline is intended for inquiries related to the DEMI Post categories listed on this slide, which include manual wheelchairs, power mobility devices, pressure reducing support surfaces, Group 2, and lower limb prosthetics. For a complete listing of the different HICKPIX codes that are eligible for ADMC or COPPA, please check out our Pre-Claim web pages or our comparison tool on the Meridian website. The Pre-Claim Hotline is intended to be used by suppliers for questions they may have during the preparation or submission of an ADMC or COPPA request. Questions about a certain decision received on the submission or information on coverage criteria related to one of these DEMI Post categories could also be asked. If you have a question or issue outside of something directly pertaining to a prior authorization request, you should contact the Supplier Contact Center. We have a few of these examples listed out on this slide for you along with the numbers for both the JA and JD Contact Centers. These can also be found on our website under your jurisdiction and then click on "Contact Us" at the top of the webpage in the green ribbon.
