There are too many people that don't know about this program, and I want to help them out by showing them how to do it. The links on each of these videos will take you straight to the PDF for a website where you need to take the doctor's approval. You can have two plaque cards or one license plate for your vehicle. The license plates do have a fee, which is twenty dollars in Maryland. However, the plaque cards are absolutely free, and the registration stickers are also free. I just think it's worth it to go through the process. So, be patient, watch the video, and download the PDF file or any other instructions. Take it to your doctor, get it signed, then take it to either the VA or DMV in your state and get your plaque card. One thing to remember is that only the person who is in the vehicle that is handicapped can park in a handicapped spot. There is a six hundred fifty dollar fine in Maryland for illegally parking in a handicapped spot, and the fines vary from state to state. So, don't be dependent on or abuse the handicapped spot.
