True" Music Music. Alright guys, I was able to install Boot Camp Windows 10 Pro and Home. Everything worked fine. Now, let's go over the things that I changed in order for this to work. So, if you want Boot Camp to work and install Windows 10, these are the steps I recommend that I did, and I'm pretty sure it will work for you. Number one: Make sure you upgrade to Mac OS Mojave. This is very important. Number two: Go and download Windows 10 from the Microsoft website. When you decide to do Boot Camp and install Windows, go to the website and type in "download Windows 10." Follow the link that is from Microsoft, not from anywhere else. Click on it, and select the edition of Windows 10. For me, I will select the product in English. Choose your version, 64-bit. If you have an older processor, it might be 32-bit. Number three: Go to System Preferences, then go to Security & Privacy. Make sure your FileVault is turned off. Also, make sure that your Time Machine is not backing up automatically. If it is, uncheck the option. If you have a disk selected, remove it. Once this is done, go to the next step. Open Terminal and check if there are any local snapshots from Time Machine. Type "tmutil listlocalsnapshot /" and press Enter. If you don't have any, there won't be a list. If you have any, delete them by running the command "sudo tmutil deletelocalsnapshots" followed by the date and time from the list for each snapshot. But honestly, Mojave will clear those snapshots for you. In High Sierra, you'll have to delete them one by one.
