True. This is just a quick tutorial on how to download a file if it's on the discussion board. If you go in through a weekly link where you're linking in, you actually have to hit create thread. This is in all classes. So we're going to go to one of the classes and you can see that there's a discussion board here and there's no file on this one. So I'm going to just pause, but you do have to hit create even though the directions are here. So when you go in as a student, even though the directions are here, if there's a file here sometimes it throws an error when you try to download it. So I'm going to show you how to do it once you are in this screen where it says create thread. This is a discussion board that actually has an attachment, it actually has three. So you're going to hit create thread before you do anything because if you're outside, you're considered outside of the discussion at that point. And once you're inside, you can download any of the files. See, it just downloads easily. There's also another way to do this and that is by going in through the actual discussions tab and scrolling down. Once you get down to the place that you want to be like this one down here, the same thing you saw, if you click here, it's going to work. So it's just about the way that you're going in and the way Blackboard is perceiving what you're doing. So I hope that that helps and just let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
