Basically, this application allows you to do a full restore on the iPhone without forcing you to update to the newest version of iOS. This can be super useful for those of you who just want to start from scratch and have a fresh jailbreak, with no tweaks, themes, leftover files, or junk mixed in your file system. You can just fully wipe it clean. Another useful aspect of this is if you're on a jailbreakable version and want to sell your iPhone. Succession will allow you to fully restore it. Just remember, before doing so, if you plan on selling your iPhone, go into settings and make sure you sign out of your iCloud account. Otherwise, when succession restores it, it will be iCloud locked. So, if you're looking to sell it, make sure you sign out of your iCloud account. Just a little reference here. In the general and about settings, we are on my iPhone 10, currently on version 14.6. As of the recording of this video, only iOS 14.7.1 is being signed. Let me go ahead and look this up. IPSW Music. Okay, it seems that 14.7.1 is the only signed version. Everything else is in red.
