Today, we're discussing all about creating a birth plan. It's one of the most important things you can do before giving birth, but a lot of women don't know how to create their birth plan. So, I'm going to give you five actionable steps that you can take to creating your own birth plan that you can share with your midwife or the hospital when you check in, to help things go a little bit smoother and more comfortable, and to have the birth experience that you want. So, let's go through them. Number one, be flexible. I cannot stress enough that you need to be flexible when you create a birth plan. It's about your health and the baby's health is a priority. We build up in our minds that our birth experience is going to go one way and sometimes it just doesn't happen. You have to be open to any scenario because your health and the baby's health is the biggest priority. So, be flexible and be mindful when you're creating your birth plan that some of the requests that you make and things that you want to happen may not happen at all. It's hard to think about, but it's something that's important that you just remember. Hey, it, you know, I'm flexible, I've got to be open to change.
