True" Music. Hi, I'm Christiana Beckford with the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish. This year, we're excited to announce the new electronic harvest tagging application system. When you applied for the draw, you had the option to choose either an e-tag or a paper tag. If you chose the e-tag application, there are a few easy steps you need to go through before going into the field. First, download the app and log in using your username and password. It's the same username and password that you use to sign on to the Game & Fishes electronic licensing system. After you have logged into the new app, download your tags immediately after harvesting your animal. To tag your animal, use the new e-tag app. It's easy to do. Just open the app on your phone and click on the species you've just harvested. Then, click the blue button that says "Tag My Animal". You will be asked if you're sure, and if you click yes, your new e-tag number will be revealed. The application will prompt you on what information you need to write. Once you have your e-tag number, you need to pull out some flagging duct tape or something that you can write on with permanent ink. Write your full name, the e-tag number, your CIN, and the date of harvest. Even though you've used the e-tag system, you still need to go online and complete your harvest report. If you need help with the e-tag system, you can call the Game and Fish Information Center Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at 1-888-486-8666. Music.
