Uh, today we are going to talk about an introduction to North Carolina's Interdisciplinary Representation Program. I am Crystal Koble and I will be your facilitator today. We do have a great presenter, Wendy Sotalongo, that will be sharing important information about this topic with us. So we're happy to have you here, and I'm going to go ahead and get us started. So, a little bit about this webinar. It was made possible by funding from the North Carolina Court Improvement Project, which is part of the Administrative Office of the Courts. It was also developed and presented by the Office of the Parent Defender and the Family and Children's Research Program at the UNC Chapel Hill's School of Social Work. So, by the end of this webinar, we are hoping that you walk away with knowing more about what the Interdisciplinary Representation Program is (and you may hear us say IRP). We also want to know how it benefits families and children involved with the child welfare system, as well as those who work with them, including attorneys, courts, child welfare agencies, GALs, and lots of other stakeholders which we um have you all here today. Also, how the IRP will be launched and expanded in North Carolina and what that looks like and what our plan is for that. And then lastly, what to do if you want to know more, those next steps.
