True, we've gotten a lot of questions from folks on how to connect Stratos and IFD to your iPad. Perhaps you're running an IFD 100 or more flight and you want to have all three of those things talking to one another. The IFD series supports third-party Wi-Fi networking so that we can connect an IFD as a client on a third-party network like the Stratus 3 in order to share information. So, what we're trying to do here is imagine you've got a flight on your iPad and it's getting ADS-B weather and traffic from your Stratus. We want it also to get GPS position from the panel mount and IFD. Of course, the iPad can only talk to one network at a time, so you have to pick either the Stratus or the IFD, which has this built-in Wi-Fi. But using this third-party networking capability, now we can have them all communicating together. So, what you want to do, you'll need to add the Stratus as an available network to your IFD. So, you have to go into maintenance mode on the IFD by going to the aux page system tab. Go over here where it says "download Logs" line, select key number one. Then after that, it'll go to this page where you have to hit confirm, right select key two. That'll take you into the maintenance mode where you want to scroll over to the config tab and go to the network configuration page using the small knob. You're there. The default Wi-Fi network is Leo Wi-Fi. There's the password. You can go in and add up to three more networks. In this case, we want to add a Stratos. Put in the password for that network.
