True," hi everybody. This is Jeanette from Boricua Sewing Crafts. In this video, what I want to do is talk to you guys about fonts and the Brother SC 1900. Someone in the Facebook group asked if you need In Brilliance to import new fonts for the Brother ST 1900. The answer is no, you don't need to purchase additional software. However, I want to emphasize that using software like In Brilliance makes the process a whole lot easier. But if you don't have In Brilliance, let me show you how to do it without it. When I first bought my Brother SC 1900, I didn't have In Brilliance. I wanted to use other fonts, so I went to embroiderydesigns.com. This is just one of many websites where you can buy fonts. On the right-hand side of the website, click on "Fonts and Alphabets." Start by browsing the top-selling fonts to see what's popular. You can find a variety of fonts, including Disney fonts or the Honey Script. They offer fonts compatible with In Brilliance (BX file) or the Brother machine (PES file format). When you buy a BX file, it means the Brother machine can read the file format PES. To make it easier to create your files using In Brilliance, buy the fonts in BX format. Once you have the BX file, import it into In Brilliance, and then you can type it out. Let me show you how to launch In Brilliance now.
