Instructions and Help about Dd 1750

True. Hey everyone, it's Amy from Crimson Creations Company. Today, I'm going to show you how to take an old family recipe that's written on a note card, upload it onto Silhouette Studio, and change it into a sublimation transfer. Let's get started. Okay, so I already have the Silhouette Studio software open, and you can download this software for free. I have the Designer Edition, which I paid $99 for. It allows you to do extra stuff and I mainly use it for designing and saving PNG files. However, you can do a lot more things with it. The Designer Edition allows you to save PNG files, SVG files, and more. PNG files have a transparent background, while SVG files are cut files for Silhouette and Qriket. To me, it's definitely worth the money and I suggest upgrading. However, it's still worth downloading the free edition just to learn. So, let's get started. We're going to go up here to File and Open. I had a customer on Etsy who wanted a copy of her family recipe that was written on a note card. She sent me a picture of it, which I'll show you first. Here's the picture with her granite countertop. To make it smaller, you can use the corners or just move it to the center and click the lock button to maintain proportions. I'll make it about eight inches. This is the original picture she sent. She wanted just the handwriting printed out on a sublimation transfer for a Christmas gift to her family. I'll rotate the image to the left and make it slightly bigger to have a better work area. We only want the writing from the note card. Now, let's put it in the center. Over here to the right, you'll see one of your toolbars....
