True" Music. Hey everybody, it's Adam Tracy. I'm here today to address a number of inquiries I've received regarding Wyoming DAO LLCs and the process of forming a DAO LLC. Surprisingly, it's not as easy as forming a traditional LLC, but I can guide you through it. So, let's start with the basics. First, go to the Wyoming Secretary of State's website and file your Wyoming LLC as you would for a normal LLC. Click on "Start Now" and select "Limited Liability Company" as your business type. Then, hit "Yes" and "Next". Next, you'll need to enter the name for your DAO. For now, let's just use "Test LLC Test DAO". It's crucial to include the words "DAO LLC" in the company name. Under the additional designation, select "Decentralized Autonomous Organization". Hit "Next". When it comes to the period of duration, I always prefer to choose "Perpetual". However, feel free to change it according to your needs. As for the delayed effective date, I usually keep it as the date of incorporation, but you can modify it if necessary. Hit "Next". Now, let's move on to the registered office. Make sure you have this set up before creating the company. Personally, I recommend using Registered Agents Inc. because they offer affordable services. Search for them and select their option. They will handle sending the necessary statement to the state on your behalf. Click "Next". Regarding the address, you may wonder whether you need to use your own address. The answer is no, it's not mandatory. Whether you're in the United States or outside of it, you have the option to use the registered agent's address. They will collect mail and may even scan it for you.
