True," hey guys, Jonah's welcome back to my channel. In this video, I'm gonna show you how to import custom templates into popular note-taking apps, including GoodNotes 5, Notability, and Note Shelf. So let's get started. The template that I'm going to be using is one that I made, which you can find on janastudies.com/downloads. These templates are all free to download, and I'll link them in the description as well. The first thing that you want to do is go on your iPad and navigate to the page of the template that you want to download. After that, you want to save that template to your files. I'd encourage you to create a subfolder within your files dedicated just to paper templates so that they're easier to find when you need them. Now you can open your note-taking app, and I'm gonna start with GoodNotes 5. The first place you'll want to go to is the Settings icon on any main page that is not a notebook. You'll see that there is an option for notebook templates. All you have to do is go to the first row of templates and scroll to the very end. There will be an option to import templates. You have the option to import from files or photos, but we're going to go with the files option just because of where we saved that template from. From this point, just navigate to the folder where you saved your template and select it. And there you have it, a new addition to your template library in GoodNotes 5. You can now select this template when creating a new notebook in the app. So now, whenever you add new pages to your notebook, your pages will automatically have the template that you imported.
