How can I file my paperwork? Where can I get answers to my questions? But really, your main question is if the court buildings are closed, how do I get help? In this video, we will let you know how to find and file court forms and paperwork, and who to contact for answers to your questions. As you know, our court buildings are closed because we are all doing our part to follow social distancing rules and the governor's order to slow the spread of COVID-19. Chief Justice Stuart Rabner and Administrative Director Judge Glenn Grant have asked every part of our court system to use online tools and innovative methods to safely continue to help the public during this challenging time. You cannot visit the court in person, but we do have several ways for you to get help right now. First, take a look at our court's website, NJcourts.gov. Our website has a lot of information to guide you about what's changed because of the COVID-19 restrictions, about the different parts of the court system, and about how to get help. Second, you can always call or email our court ombudsman. They are court employees, so they cannot give you legal advice, but they can explain how the court works, what paperwork you would need to file, and what other resources are available.
