True" Hello everybody, welcome to DIY to Design. My name is Jim and today we are going to be talking about Tennessee. I love Tennessee. I think Tennessee is a great place. Um, I wrote this ebook called "Unincorporated Freedom" which explains the process in which Jill and I found property within. Uh, well, it just outlines the procedure I used on how to find property without building codes. Now, it's not. We ended up purchasing in Tennessee and finding property in Tennessee, but I found properties in many, many, many states. Not just four or five states out there, there's, um, there's quite a few states out there. I'm honestly at least 10 or 15. Um, I don't have the number right in front of me, but there's quite a few that have properties without building codes or properties without building code enforcement. It's a big difference between the two, but they both yield the same result, right? So getting back to the point of this video, this is specifically about the unincorporated freedom in Tennessee. Now, Jill and I love Tennessee. This is a place that I feel is an amazing opportunity to homestead in. Um, it offers so much freedom and it offers the ability to be independent in that self-reliancy. Um, you know, within yourself, it's just, it's on the top of my list. I'm just gonna tell you, I'm a big fan of Tennessee and that's the reason why I wrote the book, right? So in this book, it specifically outlines all the counties, all the cities, everywhere that I know of that do not have building code and building code enforcement.
