Instructions and Help about Dd 1750

True" when using old journal files with new versions of Trellis, sometimes you'll find that the IDs of the entities don't match up from one version to the next. This has to do with the fact that we often upgrade the ASIS geometry kernel from one version to the next. Sometimes, the IDs get changed when transitioning from one version of ASIS to the next. For example, in this journal file where we're creating a brick and meshing it, splitting it into and meshing it, we use absolute IDs. So, you'll see "Volume 1" and "Volume 2". When I run that journal file, we get the expected result. If you have a journal file that is not working because the IDs are thrown off, you can convert the absolute IDs of the entities to relative references. The way you do that is by using the button on the toolbar to play an idealist journal file. This time, when I open this journal file, it gives me an option to convert from absolute IDs to relative references or from relative references back to absolute IDs. I'm going to choose "absolute IDs to relative reference" and I'm going to record this change or conversion into a new journal file. Now, when I click "finish" and run the journal file, I get the same results. However, this time, if I were to open up this new journal file, I'll see that instead of absolute IDs for "Volume 1" and "Volume 2", I have the relative ID "Web Cut Volume" at (0,0,0) ordinal 1. "Ordered" means that I'm specifying the volume whose centroid is at (0,0,1). If there were multiple volumes with a centroid at that position, then I would use the ordinal 1 order, meaning the first volume located at that position. In this...
