Instructions and Help about Dd 1750

Hey everybody, Joe from the Machine Gun Nest, and I'm here to talk to you today about the Maryland 77R. I'll explain what it is, how to fill it out, and when you need it. First of all, what is the Maryland 77R? Every time you make a firearm purchase, there's ATF paperwork that you have to fill out. The Maryland 77R is essentially Maryland's version of the ATF paperwork for regulated items within the state. It ensures compliance with Maryland state law. The 77R mostly applies to pistols, including traditional handguns and AR pistols, as well as lower receivers. The first step is to create your account. If you already have your Handgun Qualification License (HQL), you would have created an account for that. However, this is a separate account, although you will still need your HQL number if you plan on purchasing a pistol. So, first things first, create your account. I highly recommend using a personal email that you will always have access to, rather than a business email. They frequently ask you to reset your password, and if you don't have access to your email, it'll be a huge hassle to get your email changed on the account. You cannot create multiple accounts, as they use your driver's license number and personal information. If you try to create a new account with a new email but the same old driver's license, it will inform you that an account has already been created. In that case, you'll have to contact the Maryland State Police to change your email for you. Once your account is created, log in. It may ask you to verify your password using your email. Sometimes, you'll have to do this multiple times. Once you're logged in, you'll see the screen with the option to "Start 77R"...
