True" use PDF to GIF to convert PDF bank or credit card statements files to QAF format and import into Quicken or your accounting software supporting QAF import. Start by using the PDF to GIF converter and open the transaction file. Review transactions before converting and check that the dates are correct. Make sure they have the correct year and that deposits and withdrawals are in the correct places. Then, select the QAF target to match your quick conversion or your accounting software. Set the account name and account type to create a QIF file for the right account. Click the convert button to create a QIF file in Quicken. Remember to backup your data file before importing. Click on "File" and then "Import from QIF" to import transactions. These transactions are important and will be placed under the account name provided on the QAF file. After importing, review the transactions once again.
