Today's webinar is based on taking a paper-based form and replicating it to be used in FileMaker on multiple devices, such as Mac, PC, browser, and iPad. It seems like you can see my screen and hear me well. So, today's webinar focuses on transforming a paper form provided by a potential customer into a digital form using FileMaker. Although I have slightly altered the logo and name for demonstration purposes, the form is originally used by a retail outlet to manage their staff. Since they have multiple stores, it has become challenging for them to handle all the staff information efficiently. In the next 25 minutes, I will show you how to replicate this paper-based form in FileMaker. However, our goal is not only to recreate it, but also to utilize the powerful features of FileMaker to simplify and refine the process. We will also enable the staff members using FileMaker to benefit from various features like drop-down lists and file attachments. To get started, we need to open FileMaker and create a new database file. Once you click on "File" and then "New Database," you will be prompted to save the file.
