True," hi there Gareth Gibson for Trimble Geospatial. With the introduction of the Catalyst DA2 GNSS receiver, Catalyst receivers now connect to your phone or tablet using Bluetooth. In this video, I'm going to show you the process for connecting to your device from an Android phone or tablet. On Android, you can connect directly to the GNSS receiver from within the Trimble Mobile Manager application. Open Trimble Mobile Manager, open the position source screen, and tap on "List Connected Devices." This will establish a Bluetooth scan, and Trimble Mobile Manager will show you all available Bluetooth devices that your phone can see. The Trimble DA2 shows up at the top of the list. I tap on it and then tap "Connect" to confirm. Trimble Mobile Manager connects to the receiver and immediately starts generating positions within a matter of seconds. The receiver has converged to an RTK position. The Catalyst DA2 GNSS receiver is available today. If you'd like a demonstration or if you're ready to purchase, please contact your local Trimble Geospatial distributor.
