True" hello everybody and welcome to ADA Document Remediation. Today's topic, we're going to be covering syllable PDF documents. For any PDF document that you want to turn into a fillable form, you're going to want to follow these steps. Currently, I am using Pro DC to do this change. The document we're currently looking at is an application and it is meant to be printed out, filled out, and then mailed back in. If you wanted to turn this application into a fillable form, or insert form fields for submission, you're going to want to make sure that you have the Prepare Form tool in your toolkit. If you do not have it, simply go to the Tools panel, select Forms and Signature, and the Prepare Form tool will be there. Add it to your tool list and then go back to your document by selecting the tab for your document. Now, let's start with creating a fillable form. The first thing you're going to want to do is select the Prepare Form tool. Once you do that, it's going to ask you if you're sure that you want to make this into a fillable form. If your answer is yes, simply select Start. The tool will automatically populate form fields for you. Double-check and hit Close to ensure that all the form fields are in the right places. If there are any extra form fields that you want to delete, just select the Prepare Form tool, highlight the field, and hit Delete. It will remove it for you. The next step, once you've checked and made sure all the form fields are in place, is to double-check that they are named correctly.
