Instructions and Help about Dd 1750

To configure your KDC to connect to an Android device using Bluetooth's SPP mode, you must first download Katie Sync from the Android Market to your Android mobile device. Now, you must enable the Android device to accept data from the KT Sink. From the settings menu, select language and keyboard, and enable the KT Sink keyboard option. Highlight select input method and set it to the Katie Sink keyboard. On your KDC, go to Katie See menus, select BTW config, select connect device, set it to SPP mode, then save and exit. Next, go to BT service, make sure Bluetooth is enabled, and select pairing on the Android device. Select settings, wireless networks, Bluetooth settings, and make sure Bluetooth is selected. Search for devices from the listed devices and select the KDC with the correct serial number. After the KDC is paired to the Android device, launch Katie Sink from the KT Sync program. Go to menu, connect, and select the KDC with the correct serial number. Now, the devices are paired and connected with Bluetooth. Now, when you scan a barcode, it goes into the active window of Katie Sync. Alternatively, you can put Katie Sink in the background and run an Android application, such as notes, and scanned barcode data goes directly into the application.
